Released independently in 1996 this energetic 4 pc. band crossed over from folk to rock with a raw and urgent Canadian rock sound. Features Lindsay Martell on lead vocals and guitar, Jason Euringer on guitar and vocals, Todd Sacerty on bass and Bob Wilson on drums. All songs written by Lindsay Martell and Moris except "Room With the Sir John A. View, written by Sarah Harmer. Moris was recorded and co-produced by Rick Salt at Island Pacific Studios in Nanaimo, Canada. Guest appearances by Sarah Harmer (Room with Sir John A View), Kate Fenner, and Ken Hamm (Fools Parade). The album attracted radio attention, winning awards in demo competitions with both C-FOX in Vancouver, and Q-100 in Victoria with it's single 10:10 in rotation. The band was featured on 92.9 Fm's Locals Only program in Bellingham, Washington, U.S.A. and Much Music from Toronto's "Much West" television program. Moris, the only CD released by the band resonates loudly still, and has become a collectors item for fans of the band and those looking for Lindsay Martell's earliest release as a songwriter.
